Daily Eats Lunchbox: Hale and Hearty Soups
New York, New York - There are many places in Mid-town to go for the quickie lunch. The basic salad bar place, bistro, and sandwich shop. While strolling around, I discovered Hale and Hearty Soup. It’s a soup place with a wide variety of hot and chilled soups and stews. There was a bit of a chill in the air so I opted for hot asparagus, potato and leek with a tuna salad on mixed greens. Of course I added in the chocolate chip cookie all for under $12.00.The soup was refreshing and well balanced. I don’t believe there was any cream added. There was a home made quality to the texture. It was good value for lunch with great taste.
Hale and Hearty Soups has several locations in Manhattan and a couple of locations in Brooklyn.

I love muushroom and barely soup in the winter. Summmer a chilled beet and ginger.
