Daily Eats LA Trip: Silver Lake Wine
My first stop after the 6 hour ride west on I-10 was the Silver Lake Wine (store), located in LA’s Silver Lake section of town. Thanks to Lisa Napoli, who turned me on to the hottest place in LA! A wine store by day and on Thursday and Sunday they having wine tastings. You get 1 flight for $12. Randy Clement, owner, founded a great way to promote wine and create a happening scene for wine loving Angolans. Mix and mingle while sipping. I especially like the Domaine Alary La Grange Daniel, which was cool and crisp.

While we are on the subject of wines, I was at a cocktail party Lisa Napoli gave Friday evening, 24th. Topic of discussion was beautiful, smart, porn star, Savanna Samson (Natalie Oliveros), who got into the wine making business. Smart and knowledgeable she is indeed. Her wine, Sogno Uno in Italian means Dream One, scored a 90-91 out of a possible 100 by wine guru Robert Parker. I’m looking forward to trying out her wine!
