Hurricane Katrina Relief Funds
The folks at Daily Eats send our heart felt prayers to all the people who affected Hurricane Katrina.To help here is a list of places to contribute to the relief efforts:
Second Harvest -food relief
Americares - providing hygiene products, cleaning materials, etc.
Humane Society - focuses on saving animals
United Way - umbrella group that's pretty good at moving money down the pipe to orgs that deserve it
Give evaluates charities by their program/administrative efficiency and other characteristics.
There's the Red Cross.
