Mix Lounge, Las Vegas
The view at Mix Lounge, Mandalay Bay, on the 64th floor, is amazing, the atmosphere hot and sexy. High above the Vegas Strip as far as the eye will allow you to see the panorama is tantalizing.The dining hostesses are beautiful, wonderful, and friendly and care very much that you have a great experience at Mix. The Violet Martini is smooth, delicious, with an added surprise of a live flower planted in the center making the sensation adventurous and look beautiful. The favors of the Crab Cakes had a hint of citrus, crisp on the outside and soft inside was very yummy.
Admittedly, we didn't care very much for the Black and White Pizza. Though the concept was there the delivery was weak. The thin layer cake was almost tasteless. Voicing our disappointment our lovely dining host accommodated us with an introduction to Anthony Olheiser, manager of THEhotel. Seconds later our disappointed disappeared replaced with the Exotic Chocolate Dome, Mango Chutney, and Passion Fruit Sorbet. The savor of bittersweet chocolate dome is delightful, lighting up all of the passion centers of my brain. Having a nimble of the chocolate then having a lick of the mango chutney is sincerely a match made in paradise.
